When someone says, "I feel so lucky that I've been given this opportunity," I think two things.
One. The opportunity was presented to you. You took it. You did most of the work.
Two. Isn't your feeling of luck really just enormous gratitude?
So someone should really then say "I am so grateful that I seized this opportunity."
I am so grateful that I have my little guy, and that I get to celebrate him tomorrow with everyone who loves him the most!
